This week, I'd like to let you know about the fantastic progression scholarships available for all students who are due to progress to University in 2017. KIC and our partner universities rewarding your best performing students!
Away from the comforts of home and their families, your students work hard to achieve their goals of progressing to university, and we want to reward our top students!
We are very pleased to give you information about our generous 2017 progression scholarships, awarded to our best performing student’s progressing from their KIC course onto their host university.
I have attached a breakdown of the terms and conditions per college, please read it. Here is a summary of what we can offer:
Bournemouth University : £2,500-£3,500
University of Brighton: £2,000
University Of Glasgow: £3,000
Cranfield University: £3,000 (Highest performing student)
University of Liverpool: £2,500 or 20% of fees
Nottingham Trent University: £500- £3,000
University of the West of England : 50% off fees or £1,000- £2,000
University of York: £5,000

We’re delighted today to launch a brand new entry point and course for the current Spring 2016 intake at Nottingham Trent International College, that allows students to progress upon successful completion to Nottingham Trent University in September 2016.
The course, which starts on the 28 March, has been created due to two main reasons. Firstly, we have seen great demand from students for another late start Foundation programme. Secondly, we have seen the other late March programme we launched recently, at Liverpool International College, prove to be extremely popular with both students and agents.
One of the great aspects of this course is that it allows successful students to progress to University in September 2016 after starting their Foundation programme at the end of March. The College will incorporate a number of different pre-arrival activities and classes to ensure that students joining this programme are set up for success, exactly just students on our traditional, longer pathways.
Key details about the programme are listed below:
·Course name :– Foundation Certificate in Business, Law and Social Science
·Length :– Two Terms
·Progression to University :– September 2016
·IELTS 5.5. with no skill below 4.5.
·Enrolment starts :– 28 March
·Enrolment ends –: 11 April

Holding of fees – Autumn 16/17
Also, I’d like to give you a reminder that we launched our new tuition fees for Autumn 2016 courses last month. As mentioned, any students who are able to pay their tuition fees on, or before the 22nd February 2016 will be eligible for 2015/16 fees. As mentioned, this is a great opportunity for students to pay last year’s tuition fee costs, do let me know if you have any questions about this at all.

As the Spring 2015 intake approaches, I would like to tell you more about a particularly special course at Nottingham Trent International College.
The Foundation Certificate for Petroleum Engineering is the first step for international students who are interested in pursuing a career in the oil and gas industry. Taught at Nottingham Trent International College, the course helps students improve their core knowledge of petroleum engineering, plus develop their study and research skills. It also gives students English language support so they can be fully prepared for their undergraduate engineering degree.
The course provides guaranteed progression to the first year of a related Bachelor’s degree on successful completion at the required level. Students beginning January 2015 can progress to their undergraduate course in September 2015, and can choose from one of two leading UK universities.
