| 학교소개 | Athenian School은 1965년 Dyke Brown 에 의해 설립되었으며, 샌프란 시스코에서 자동차로 40분 거리에 있는 소도시에 위치한 남녀공학 기숙학교 입니다. 재학생들은 통학을 하고, 10% 정도 외국 학생들은 기숙사 생활을 하고 있습니다. 우수 교육 도시인 Alamo, Danville, Diablo, San Ramon 거주하는 학생들을 위해 우수한 커리큘럼과 양질의 수업을 제공하고 있습니다. 인근에 있는 공립 학교들과 차별화를 두어, 예술 분야에 다채로운 수업 과정을 제공하며, 교내에서는 Experiential Education 경험 위주의 교육 커리큘럼을 제공 합니다. 학생들과 선생님 들은 함께 비행기 설계, 로봇을 만들며, 배낭여행 통한 리더쉽. 협동심. 창의력 위주의 수업을 통해 독창적인 교육을 받고 있습니다. 현재 42명의 국제 학생들은 14개국에서 온 학생들로 구성되어 있으며, ESL 프로그램이 잘 갖추어져 있어 외국인 지원자가 많아 기숙사가 부족하여, 매년 높은 경쟁률을 자랑합니다. |
