Why study at TLC-Philadelphia?
1. The location in the city: We are located in the beautiful historic district of the first capital of the United States. Restaurants, shops, and public transportation are within minutes of our center.
2. The location on the east coast: We are just two hours from New York, two hours from Washington, D.C., one hour from the mountains, and one hour from the beach. We take students to all of these locations for different activities throughout the year.
3. The university connections: We have cooperative agreements with universities around the area and across the country. Our students can enter local schools like Widener University, Philadelphia University, and Goldey-Beacom College without a TOEFL or IELTS score.
4. The University Tour Program: In addition to the usual TLC offerings (Intensive English, General English, Business English, Study Vacation, etc.), we have a unique university tour program. Students study English for one week or more at our Philadelphia center. Then, students travel by bus to New York and Boston to tour famous schools like New York University, Yale, Harvard, and MIT. The package also includes a trip to the Statue of Liberty, a Broadway show, and other visits to famous sites.
