In February and March we are pleased to be hosting 2 Japanese university groups for a 3 week ESL, Business Communications and Volunteer Placement program. This is the 11th year in a row we are hosting these groups which is a testimony to the quality of IGK programs! If you send university groups abroad you should consider this option or one of our many other options. The students receive credits from their university for completing this program.
IGK is also hosting a Japanese high school group for a 1 week ESL + Activity program in March and in early May we are hosting a group of Mexican parents and kids for a 2 week ESL and activity program. IGK can customize programs for groups large or small and offers the widest variety of camp options in Canada!
Group programs are also the most lucrative for you! One of our Mexican partners earned a $14,000 commission for a 2 week specialty camp last May!

TESOL Mania
The next 2 week in class TESOL program begins on March 23 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and on May 4th in Kelowna. If you have upper intermediate to proficiency level students interested in learning how to teach English to adults and children then this is the program for them! IGK offers an optional practicum for graduates plus our program is over $1000 less expensive than similar programs at public community colleges! IGK has a 95% job placement rate with graduates landing jobs at IGK and in Mexico, Chile, Turkey, Vietnam, China and online to date.

Ice Hockey Camp-it’s Canada eh! so of course IGK has hockey!!
International Gateway Kelowna offers a 2 week Youth Vacation Program/Ice Hockey Camp for ages 8 to 17. The first week features ESL + Activities in Canada’s #1 resort destination in an international class while the 2nd week features an intensive ice hockey skills camp integrated with Canadian youth.

Early registration is essential as the ice hockey camps sell our every year and homestay accommodation is limited at IGK during our peak season from July 10-August 15.
In past years we have hosted boys and girls from Japan, Korea, Germany, Canada, Switzerland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan and Russia for this program.

International Gateway Kelowna offers a number of Indigenous cultural experiences as part of its Youth Vacation program plus we have hosted indigenous groups in the past from Mexico and Taiwan for our 2 week ESL+Canadian Culture Program.
