2017년 가을학기가 연장됨에 따라, 2018년 1월학기 대부분의 풀타임 과정의 시작일이 1월 22일로 변경 되었습니다.
또한 2018년 1월 학기 수강신청 일자가 확정되어 안내 이메일을 드리오니 참고하시고 학생분들께 안내 부탁드립니다.

신입생 및 졸업 학기(마지막 학기) 등록 학생: 2017년 12월 14일(목) 부터 시간표 작성 가능
그외 모든 재학생: 2017년 12월 18일(월) 부터 시간표 작성가능
모든 신입생들은 시간표 작성 완료를 위해 지원시 제출했던 서류들의 증빙 (Verification)과정을 반드시 거쳐야 합니다.
이를 위해 시간표 작성시 원본 서류들을 제출하거나, 원본 서류를 지참하여 제출했던 서류들과 대조과정을 거쳐야 합니다. 해당하는 서류들은 아래와 같습니다.
- 고등학교 성적표 및 졸업증명서 (대학 서류 제출시 대학서류 포함)
- 영어공인성적 (토플, 아이엘츠, 사설어학원 수료증 등)
- 여권 및 학생비자
* 학생분의 시간표 작성이 안되는 경우 다음 사항을 확인 해 주시기 바랍니다.
1) 학생분의 첫학기 학비 완납 여부
2) 학생분의 비자 서류가 모두 제출 되었는지 여부
3) 입학에 필요한 요건을 모두 충족 하였는지 여부 - 영어시험, 수학시험 등
1. 서류 안내
학생들은 유효한 학생비자(Study Permit)와 여권사본의 제출 없이는 시간표 작성이 불가능합니다.
캐나다 도착전에 시간표를 작성하는 학생들의 경우에는 반드시 학생비자 승인 레터와 여권사본을 제출해야하며, 제출한 다음날 부터 등록이 가능합니다.
센테니얼 컬리지에 등록하기 위해서 유효한 학생비자를 갖고 있어야 함은 캐나다 이민국에서 규제하고 있는 내용이기 때문에
모든 학생분들에게 예외없이 적용되는 사항이므로 꼭 학생들에게 안내하셔서 필요한 서류를 제출해주시기 바랍니다.
위의 서류는 학생넘버와 함께 다음 이메일 주소중 하나로 보내주시면 됩니다.

등록일 이후로 원하시는 시간대에 국제학부를 방문하시면 혹시 있을 등록상의 문제관련 문의 사항에 답변해드리고 또 필요한 안내사항을 전달해 드리고 있습니다.
*연계 영어 교육기관 수료의 경우 확인을 위해 반드시 연계 학원에서 저희에게 직접 이메일로 수료확인을 해주셔야 합니다.
**등록 마무리를 위해서는 반드시 지원시 제출했던 서류의 원본 제출 혹은 원본 서류와 Verification 을 해야합니다.
2. 대학영어과정 배치고사 안내
자체시험 전형으로 합격하지 않은 모든 학생분들 (IELTS/ TOEFL 제출한 학생, 연계영어기관 수료학생, 캐나다에서 고등학교를 졸업한 학생)은 반드시 등록전 배치 고사를 보셔야 합니다.
만약 배치고사에서 131 혹은 141 레벨을 받은 분들은 자동으로 어카운트에 홀드가 걸리게 되어 시간표 작성이 불가능하므로 프로그레스 캠퍼스 L2-12 의 Pass Advisor 방문 후 국제학부를 방문해야 합니다.
3. 마이센테니얼 이슈
모든 입학 요건을 충족하였으나 마이센테니얼(my.centennialcollege.ca) 로그인이 안되거나 어카운트에 문제가 있는 경우 헬프 데스크 1-416-289-5280 으로 문의 주시기 바랍니다.
이번 2018년 가을학기 항공정비학과 입학 진행 관련하여 업데이트 된 사항을 전달 드리고자 합니다.
2018년 가을학기부터 항공정비학과는 새로운 캠퍼스인 Downsview Park Aerospace Campus 에서 진행이 될 예정으로, 2018년 가을학기에도 한정된 자리로 국제학생에게 오픈 됨이 확정되었습니다.
이에 다소 이른 기간임에도 불구하고 현재까지 받은 모든 지원자들의 원서를 Registrar's Office 와 함께 리뷰하였으며, 논의 결과, 내년 가을학기 항공정비학과 입학 진행에 관하여 변경 된 사항을 전달 드립니다.
1. 2018년 항공정비학과 - 항공 정비 (Aviation Technician – Aircraft Maintenance - 8112) 는 학과 입학 조건을 충족한 학생들에 한하여 어드미션이 진행 됩니다. 즉, 조건부 입학 진행은 가능하지 않습니다.
현재까지 지원자들 중 영어공인성적에 해당하는 점수를 제출하지 않은 학생들은 모두 Wait list 로 편성되었습니다.
그러므로 이 중 내년 항공정비학과 입학을 희망하는 학생들의 경우 가능한 빠른 시일내에 입학 조건을 충족하여야 하며, 입학 조건을 먼저 충족하는 학생들 순으로 추가 입학 진행 가능 여부를 확인 해 드릴 수 있습니다.
참고로 이미 더이상 새로운 지원서는 받고 있지 않으므로, 현재까지 지원서가 접수 된 학생들에 한하여 리뷰가 진행 될 예정입니다.
영어 입학 조건을 충족하는 방법은 아래와 같습니다.
1) 센테니얼과 연계되어있는 사설어학원의 연계과정 수료증 제출
2) 공인성적 제출 (http://www.centennialcollege.ca/admissions/applying/admission-requirements/language-proficiency-information/)
3) 센테니얼 자체시험 통과 (캐나다 현지에서 응시가능)
4) 캐나다 현지에서 고등학교를 다니고 있는 경우, 12학년 영어 및 수학성적을 포함한 Final transcript 및 Graduate Certificate (OSSD) 제출
*참고로 이 과정은 수학시험도 응시하여 통과해야 하지만, 영어성적을 먼저 충족하는 분들을 우선적으로 선발 할 예정입니다.
변경 된 학칙으로 인해, 신속히 공지를 해 드리는 것이 최선이라 생각하여, 학과측과 지속적인 논의 끝에 결정 된 사항을 긴급히 전달 드립니다.
매 해 입학진행은 학과의 사정으로 인하여 변동이 생길 수 있는 점 양해 부탁드리며, 프로그램 관련하여 추가 업데이트 되는 사항이 있는대로 해당 내용을 반드시 전달 드리겠습니다.

안녕하세요 센테니얼 대학교 국제 학부입니다.
늘 변함없는 성원과 협력에 진심으로 감사드립니다.
입학 관련하여 업데이트 된 사항이 있어 이렇게 이메일 드리게 되었습니다.
2017년 9월 학기부터 신입생에게는 더이상 코압 프로그램으로 입학 진행이 되지 않게 됩니다.
즉 더이상 코압 옵션으로는 입학허가서가 이슈되지 않게 되며 코압 조건이 충족되신 학생분들은 커리큘럼상 코압 학기 시작 전에 학과의 승인을 받아 코압 프로그램으로 변경이 가능합니다.
현재 코압 프로그램으로 입학하신 학생분들의 경우 1학기부터 코압 학비를 납부하고 계시며 학기 진행중 코압프로그램에 적합하지 않다고 판단되어 논코압 프로그램으로 변경시에도 해당 금액이 환불되지 않았습니다.
하지만 새롭게 바뀌는 정책하에서는 학생분들이 실제로 코압 프로그램 학기에 조인하시기 전에는 코압 비용을 납부하지 않으셔도 됩니다.
이에 따라 기존에 코압 프로그램으로 입학 신청을 하신 모든 학생분들의 2017년 9월 학기 입학진행은 논코압 프로그램으로 처리되게 될 것입니다.

Thank you very much for your great support all the time.
Please be advised that as of 2017 Fall and further, there will be no more coop programs for new entrants.
All applicants wishing to take Coop programs will start a regular non coop program first; then eligible students will be transferred to coop programs in appropriate semester based on the curriculum if approved by the school.
In other words, we still have coop options but we will not issue offers for them.
For now, new students in coop programs have to pay extra coop fees even though they are not eligible for coop placement; the fees paid are non refundable as well.
With this new procedure, students will not pay coop fees until joining the actual coop courses/placement.
Admissions of 2017 Fall applicants for coop programs will be processed for non coop regular programs.

센테니얼 대학이 2016년 캐나다전역의 Top 50 연구 투자 및 실적 대학을 조사한 결과 9위에 랭크되어 Top 10안에 포함되는 쾌거를 이루었습니다.
센테니얼 대학에서는 2015년에 약 5백 44만불의 연구 활동이 이루어져 최초로 10위안에 진입하게 되었습니다.
저희 센테니얼 대학에는 연구를 독자적으로 맡아서 진행하는 부서, Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurial Services (ARIES – 학문을 실제 생활에 적용하고 혁신적이면서 창업을 도와주는 서비스) 팀이 있습니다. 이번의 결과는 바로 이 ARIES 팀의 열정적인 업무의 결과로 볼수 있습니다.
뿐만 아니라 센테니얼 대학은 연구 중인 학생들에게 비용을 지급하는 프로젝트 실적에 있어서는 유수의 대학들 중 2위에 랭크되었습니다.
ARIES 부서의 전무 이사 Dr. Deepak Gupta 는 이번 결과와 관련하여 다음과 같이 말했습니다.
“저희에게 가장 큰 자부심을 준 것은 우리 센테니얼이 학생들의 연구시 비용지급을 하는 대학 2위에 랭크된 점입니다. 이는 센테니얼만의 독특한 적용 연구 모델을 통한 학생들의 성공 사례들을 잘 보여주고 있다고 할 수 있습니다.”
센테니얼 대학이 주도한 연구 프로젝트중 주목할 만한 것으로는 Friendly Housemates가 있습니다.
이는 일반 학생이 지적 장애인과 함께 독립적인 삶을 도울 수 있게 배열된 환경에서 한집에서 거주하는 프로젝트입니다. 해당 프로젝트에서 사용된 혁신적 기술중 대표적인 것은 스마트 링겔 가방 기술이 있는데 이는 병원 링겔 가방속의 액체 레벨을 자동으로 체크하고 언제 교체해야할지를 알려주는 기술입니다.
이외에도 풍력 및 태양 에너지를 사용한 조명 시스템을 제조하는 Clear Blue 연구 프로젝트 등이 진행되었습니다.
괄목한 만한 결과를 이룬 센테니얼 대학의 ARIES 팀에 축하를 보내며 앞으로도 센테니얼 대학은 캐나다의 다양한 연구를 선도하는 대학이 되도록 하겠습니다. 감사합니다.

2017년 9월 학기를 기해 Pre Health, Health Foundations 혹은 Technology Foundations 프로그램을 통한 간호학과(일반/Flexible)와 Medical Laboratory Technician 프로그램의 연계 패스웨이가 적용되지 않게 됩니다.
이는 해당 프로그램들의 국제 학생 정원이 줄어들어 내려진 결정입니다.
따라서 더이상 간호학과 및 Medical Laboratory Technician 프로그램을 위한 연계 프로그램의 새로운 지원서 및 프로그램 변경 신청을 더이상 받지 않게 되었기에 이메일 드립니다.
* Pharmacy Technician 프로그램은 연계 과정이 적용되지 않습니다.
현재 연계 프로그램에 이미 등록하시어 듣고 계신 학생 분들에게는 여전히 해당 연계 과정이 적용되게 됩니다.
