This is to inform you that Burnaby Mountain will be closing as of this Friday March 10.
However, we have a few extra seats opening up at Moscrop for September so if you have a student currently registered who had Moscrop as the first school choice but was given the second preference, and would like to change schools to Moscrop, please let us know asap. It'll be a first come first served basis and spaces are limited.
Note that a change of schools will probably involve a change of host families if the student has already been placed in a homestay.
We still have space at Burnaby South, Burnaby North, Byrne Creek and Cariboo Hill for September 2017 intake. We will keep you updated, and please also check our website for space availability updates.

We have just been informed by our homestay partner, Langara Homestay, that they have no more suitable host families for students starting in our February 2017 intake. We are excited to announce that on June 1, 2016, we are launchingour Online Application Portal through which you can submit your student applications electronically using our secure online platform. This option is currently limited to applications for January/February 2017 Intake only. We will continue to accept paper-based application (PDF) until October 1, 2016. After this date, only complete online applications will be processed.
Before you begin the online application process, please visit the Online Application Tips page and print out the Required Documents. After you have reviewed and gathered your student’s information and signatures for the documents, please scan and upload the documents in pdf format on the online system. You have 10 days to complete and submit an application once you create a new application. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
To apply online:
1.Please navigate to the login page for the secure online application https://mytruenorth.ca/appindex.php?db=burnaby (You can also access the Online Application Portal via our website www.studyinburnaby.ca/apply-now)
2. Follow the attached instructions on how to activate your agent account and create a password for online application. You must use your official agent email address we have on file. Please do not share your account information with your students as it will violate student privacy.
3. Once you have activated your agent account, you can start an online application for your student.
After you submit a complete online application, your student application will be reviewed for admittance. If your student is accepted a Letter of Offer and an invoice for applicable fees will be e-mailed to you. At any time after you have submitted a complete application, you can go online to get an update of its status i.e. Submitted, Reviewed, Declined.

Thank you for all your support in referring well-qualified students to the Burnaby School District for our September 2014 intake.
We are closing all our secondary schools (grades 8 - 12) application for September 2014 Intake as of Monday, May 19, 2014. However, we are still actively taking September 2014 applications for elementary students.
Please also note that we currently have limited number of seats available for our February 2015 intake in all elementary and secondary schools.
If your student wants to receive credit for secondary studies February to June then he/she must choose one of our 3 semester schools (Alpha, Byrne Creek, Central).
