We’re delighted to announce that our three Californian schools reopened for in-person learning earlier this week. Kaplan Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and San Francisco ? Berkeley opened on Wednesday 2 June with enhanced safety measures in place.
It’s really exciting to see students back for face-to-face classes in sunny California, where they can really benefit from the power of language immersion.

STUDY IN THE USA AND GET VACCINATED
We’ll help students book their COVID-19 vaccination when they study in the USA. Our dedicated in-school vaccination coordinator will help students schedule their appointment with a local vaccine provider, so they can focus on learning English and exploring their new destination.* Find out more.
*Subject to vaccine availability, as well as federal, state, and local residency, health, and other requirements, which might affect individual student eligibility. Vaccination against COVID-19 is not required to attend Kaplan classes. Students should consult their medical professional to determine whether they should get a COVID-19 vaccine. This vaccine-access support is only available to students aged 18 and over.
BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE
Between now and the end of 2021, any course booking with Kaplan or Alpadia that’s affected by COVID-19 ? either by government-imposed travel restrictions, extension of school closure or symptoms of COVID-19 - can be deferred at no extra cost to any date in the next 18 months.
