While it has been encouraging to have a reconnection timeline in place for international travel to resume in New Zealand, after weighing up all factors, we have projected that traveller demand for Wellington is likely to remain suppressed until next year. As a result, after much consideration, we have made the decision to temporarily close our Wellington campus.
We are aiming to re-open the school in the second half of 2023 and once we confirm the date, we will make an announcement.
For any students with a future enrolment in Wellington, we will be in touch with the students regarding their options.
Our Auckland campus remains in operation as usual.
We have just received notification that 1,000 students out of the 4th Cohort of 5,000 International Students as Border Exceptioncan enter New Zealand mid-year will be English language students. We will be notified next month how many will be allocated to NZLC and we will then be able to start making nominations by the end of March 2022. The visa application process for these students will then open from mid-April 2022.
